    Hi everyone!

Just found your site while search google for computeach reviews.

I'm 39 living in Northamptonshire and was made redundent last year. I've been doing some freelance stuff like web design, database design and PC repaires.

I've decide its time for some training as freelance doesn't give you a regular income. Used to work as a IT Specialist / MIS Co-ordinator looking after our Manufacturing Software system. Also assisted our IT Manager in day-to-day support issues.

So all though have some experience I don't have the qualifications.

I was looking at either MCSE or MCDBA. I've had a guy from computeach round and now he's waiting for me to respond!

I'm still not sure whether to do it or not. I've also considered going solo but not sure where to go for the exams.

    Anybody able to help,

    Michael.

Mseaney, I might suggest you look at the discussion boards at www.degreeinfo.com and check out their forum dealing with online IT degrees. There are lots of online master-level university degrees out there you could do that incorporate CCNA or MCSE into their curriculum. Most take between a year and two years, which you might spend on any given MCSE training. Look into it. It might seem expensive, but there are all sorts of ways to finance your education and you would come out way ahead of someone with just an IT cert.
