Hello all, just wanted to say hi and in need of a little advice if poss.......very much interested in a possible career in IT and MCDST has been strongly suggested as good course to start with. It would have to be distant learning and ive found somewere which dont give out books or anything its all done on the PC, you get a user name and password which means u can log onto any computer at any time. Has anyone done this kind of study before? if so would anyone reccommend it? :)

    Hi and welcome to CF!

My view is that I would rather have the books in my hand than trying to use a PC all the time.

Don't get me wrong - you need the PC to try things on, but having a reference book is always good.

So I'd do it with self-study. Always cheaper than a 'course'!

    Harry.
