    Evening all,

I am rather glad I found this forum whilst searching for info on computrain. Earlier this evening I signed up with them and paid the deposit but I will be ringing them tomorrow to cancel this. Bye, bye deposit money but at least I didnt pay the full amount to them.

To cut a long story short I have been working as a restaurant general manager for about 8 years but recently decided on a career change and my interest in all things computers lead me to decide on IT as my new career.

I spoke to some training providers before I decided on computrain but I am now thinking that self study will be more beneficial so I am off to search the rest of the forum for answers

Thanks for everyones advise which I have read regarding training providers, have a (virtual) drink on me :slidedrin

    Hi & welcome to CF:D

Why will you lose the deposit? Surely there is a 14 day cooling off period, no?

I have just spoken to them. I need to write a cancellation letter and they will give me a refund. I can then spend this money on a pc to practise on / practise rebuilding etc :p

Hopefully Santa will be bringing me the guide on the new CompTia A+ exams
