    just a short note to say hi! been studying (well.. playing with really) computing since the mid '80's. From 30 hour basic on my trusty ole beeb (still works when plugged in!) to computer science at uni (ouch!). still manage to bodgit and scarper though. now doing comptia n+ with schidegger training. found this forum whilst looking for help on the osi model real-world illustration using that darn telephone. same question - same layout - still baffleing! oh well.....now where is that modular telephone cord.......

    thank you! nope, it is redrufus (aka soppy dolop) our german shepherd puppy at about 8 weeks. now nearly 2 years and tipping the scales at just under 7 stones.

    used to consume real ale in the old days.....now i'm always driving somewhere and after a glass of wine (lemonade really) i'm on the floor sleeping peacefully! oh yeh - forgot to mention the trs 80 that i cut my teeth on....now that WAS fun!! :twisted:
