Just joined, im doing my A+ finally decided to get some certifications.
Im self studying for the 2006 objectives via mike meyers all in one book (over 1000 pages), hope to take the exam 602 in a few weeks, then the 601 shortly after.

1136 pages if I remember correctly it's a good book just make sure you read it all, as some people think sections of it relate to particular exams paths which it doesn't the whole thing relates to every exam.

thanks it seems to be a very good book, its reviews are quite good and explains in detail. Theres even practice exams and other materials on the included disk. Im surprised the amount of people who are certified or getting certified nowadays.

Another very good book is the PC Technician Street Smarts book. It has lots of real world examples of installs and troubleshooting, shown step by step.
