Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself a bit. Great community you guys have here. Already aquired tons of good info.

Working on my A+ right now and hopefully the Network + right after that.

Crazy thing: I actually took the Hardware part of the A+ for the 2000 version of the exam but then I got another job doing something completely different (Real Estate) so I never bothered to take the Software/operating system portion of it .

Now that I want to get back into IT I find that I need to take both of them all over again ughhhh.

Anyways I have my old 2000 Michael Myers book but I know there is a newer one out. I came to this site to get some ideas regarding what I should use to study.

My suggestion is to get the new Meyers. A+ got a fair bit of an update, so you need to be au-fait with the new material.

Edit: But don't let it go again - rumours suggest that the A+ will be updated again later this year!
