Hey everyone

My names Ben im 21 i work in a place called Rutland(In The Army) and i live in Stockport but was born in Swansea lol im at the moment doing my MCDST in my own time because im looking for a change in direction

Hi Ben and welcome to the forum - glad you could join us.

Are you currently doing something IT related for the Army (Signals or somesuch) or is it a complete change of pace you are looking for.

As for living in Stockport - Some one has to I suppose

The MCDST is a good place to start as is the A+ by Comptia.

yeh im a signaller so its not much of a jump really, i wanted to do desktop support when i joined but it was all outsourced to civillian contractors so have to troubleshoot radios insted

as for Stockport theres nothing wrong with it heart of the north west ;)

Not much of a Jump but big enough.

I used to go to and work at Aquinas College up near Davenport for about 3 years so know the area pretty well, all the fun of Manchester without the police precense.

But there are worse places to live I Suppose.

Is it just Desktop support you want at the moment or do you have something further planned?
