    Hi to everybody at CertForums!

I only discovered this forum on Friday evening, what a gem! Spent most of the weekend reading some very interesting posts. Everybody seems very helpfull unlike some IT forums I've been on in the past.

I'm a 35 telecoms surveyor from Preston in Lancashire, married, 2 kids etc etc. Like many other new members on here, I'm looking to establish a new career in IT although my aim is to find work as a developer. For the past 2 years now I've been studying with the Open University towards a degree in Computing which mainly covers programming using Java SE and eventually EE. I'm bored rigid in my present job and I'm looking to jump ship within the next year or so and find myself a new job in IT.

I hope to find answers to some of the questions I have and also be able to contribute something knowing a little bit about Java & OOP.

    Scott.

Yeah, the week leading upto a TMA is quite stressfull. I done loads of TMA's now and every time I do one I say to myself 'I'll do the next one as I go along and not leave it untill last minute' but that never happens! I don't think I'm the only one either.
