    Thank you for your welcome.

I have seen the local Computach and skilltrain reps but after browsing this forum I am considering going the self teach route starting with A+ upto MCSA or MCSE not too sure at the moment still new to these qualifications but have quite a bit of general PC knowledge have built own PC a few years ago.

Good idea to start with the A+ but you shouldn't do MCSA or MCSE untill you have been working in Network administration/engineering for at least a year.

Yeah, I wouldnt reccomend doing self-teach with any MCS* exams. They are very difficult and very costly.

If you have the recommended experience, it's not that hard. I got all my certifications through self-study and real-world experience. If I did it, others can too.

Welcome!! I am currently doing MCSA self study using virtual PC to do practice from MS books. The 70-290 is great. learning alot from doing hands-on. I guess that is the aim after all!!
