Just a very quick query by way of urgency!
I have just had my meeting with a Scheidegger rep (skils train)
As is usually the case they require me to sign up this evening, and just require any users experience of them!

    Cheers

    Jon

If you've been reading much about what is posted by this provider, you'll find the reviews are mixed. Recently, we've had some members say they've had some pretty good experiences with them. I don't think you'll find any school that gets a 100% approval rating by all students and former students.

Thanks Trip! I've been impressed by their (relatively) low cost in relation to Computeach and NITLC,and also their one-to-one support from their tutors, but don't you just hate it when they ask you to get the chequebook out on the night????

I know. As far as I know, they won't refuse you if you need to take a few days to think about it. It's the same as buying a car. The salesperson wants to "make the sale" the same day, based (and probably correctly) on the idea that a person is more likely to change their minds if they have time to think. :tongue

Yep..usually the case but he's been giving me the guff that the tutors get booked up quick...and its a £3 1/2K commitment y'know?

My tutor didn't force me into it when he came round. He gave me his card, and said I could call him back. If they get booked up quick, book one in another week if you're unsure. It's a lot to invest on a whim, and some people need good time to think.

If he's making you feel pressurised, let him walk, ask for a different rep anyway - it's no good to be backed into a corner on these things.

Agreed - commit to nothing tonight ! The places will be there in the morning, otherwise this would be the salesman's last day of work, right ?

The ball's in your court - remember that, and make sure he realises this as well. :)

You're quite right of course Arro and Jak

It's not really a whim, I've spoken to Computeach and NITLC as well, but as I've said the price is right, but just hate being pressured y'know???

    Thanks for your advice! :D

Hiya. Welcome aboard and good luck with your studies - whoever you eventually sign up with!

Scheidegger don't insist you sign up with them that night. The first guy I saw left a nice video and a card for me to call him when I decided. If he does insist then it's the salesguy trying the hard sell approach and I'd not trust anything else he tells you...

Listen to what he has to say... think it over for a few days... look at other option... then decide.
