    Just want to say hi to everyone, I have finally decided to do A+, Network+, MCSE/MCSA after working 6 years in IT.

    Started work back in 2000 doing IT support for PC World/Dixons/Currys, left after 4 years to do IT support for a small Architecture company which involved looking after all desktops, laptops, servers in the branch I was based in, tried to talk the company into paying for my training but had no luck. After 2 years of hard work the team leader didn't like the fact I was progressing more then him, so put in a few bad words and I lost my job.

    I then decided to open an Internet Cafe + IT support centre but it worked out too expensive. So now I have decided to do just freelance IT support for home users and small businesses.

    Good luck with the certs:thumbleft

    I don't think you should give up on that internet cafe, maybe put it on the back burner while you get some certs and money together. Sounds like a good idea to me:biggrin
