Hi all, I just want to say that I'm new here and I've just found this great site, as I started to decide to change my life around and get my foot on the IT training ladder. I've been thinking of a career in the IT industry for sometime now, but never managed to get off my a*se, and go & do it.

I'm particular interested in being a Web Developer, and already have been reading a couple of books and geting my fingers dirty into the usual HTML, ASP, ACCESS & SQL stuff.

If somebody is in the same boat? It would be great to hear from you.

Also I've been reading one or two interesting threads about trainning providers and other people's opinions about them.

Anyway that's enough from me now and I'll see you all around on here sometime.

    Thanks for reading.

    Carl.

    Hi,
A newbie like me!! I am not really doing any web stuff, but just learning about IIS on server 2003, so if you have any topics about this you need to bounce off someone, feel free! :biggrin :biggrin

Hi there Jamin, thanks for reply, it's great to know that there's people willing to help out other's just like us.

I might be going off topic here, but here goes.

Do you have problems with a DVD-Rom on Server 2003?
I currently have the Standard Edition, and just can't find the device. I used to be on Server 2000, which I had no problem with? It might be it's just a driver issue, but I've tried windows update but still no joy.

Also, this something to do with classic ASP on 2003, dunno if you can help?

Dynamic Arrays!!! I just can't create them on 2003, they're ok on 2000 but not on 2003. I just have to create static ones.

Perhaps I'm just missing something out?

    Thanks again.

    Carl.
