@Jakamoko - cheers, right back at yer!

I came here because I was interested in a course by CompuTeach, but after reading the reviews here and elsewhere I thought I'd give it a miss. I was initially very suspicious of the price of the course (£4500), but after looking around and reading what you guys had to say, I know my gut instinct was correct. Still I'd like to thank all of you who posted your opinions and thoughts that were very useful to saving me some money. Unfortunately I won't be able to pass on half of the savings to the beer fund, well not til I win the lottery anyho! :beers2

Other than that, I am interested in getting some certification of some description, I have been C++ programming in Windows for about 10 years now, but only on a non-professional level, and I need a change of career. I've not had a chance to have a good look round yet, I'll get to it, I'm sure there is plenty to see and do and maybe I'll pick up a few ideas along the way.

In the meantime - Thanks for the welcome... 8)

    Welcome Neuron :D

Good luck with ur career change. Are you planning to do the MCAD in C#? With your C++ knowledge, maybe you can consider self-study and teaching urself for whatever certs u decide to do. That's what I'm doing. I was considering Computeach too, but decided it wasnt right for me. They're not that bad. some ppl have had good experiences with them. But like you, my gut instinct told me not to do it and cos I got some IT knowledge, it's more cost efficient to teach myself.

    Good luck and have fun!!
