Hi all.
Long time no post but I bin hugely busy. Well just had half hour grilling with panel of four, and came out with the network managers job!!! 2 woohoo! Am going to be performance managed and need to come up with three year plan to improve and build on network. I`m just so chuffed you wont believe. With the specialist bid as well, I really want to make a fantastic fast reliable and groovy network.....Ok. So thats a bit far fetched, and we`re staying RM for the moment :snipersm: goddamit. In a position now tho to hopefully show management how much quicker, cheaper and generally easier pure 2k will be. Havnt been on for a while, did you get job SimonV? Hope so, you sound as if you know what you`re doing. Just want to reiterate for benifit of people who are studying at moment and wondering about jobs etc, and just wondering who this ranting maniac is :ukliam2 I started studying for mcse in may 2002 and was driving hgv`s for a living. I presume I`m allowed to say I`m studying with Computeach. They get a lot of bad press but I must say I`ve been quite happy with them, although I did buy some xtra reading material for 216/217 and trawled web quite a lot. Basically I just want to say again, never give up!! Even with no experience, vendor specific exams count for quite a lot, and if you can get and do a good interview, there are people who will give you a chance. OK this is getting extremely long and tedious now. Will hopefully post again soon.
