    Hi Guys,

Just got some new(ish) toys today, aka wireless router, laptop and wireless card. All is hunky dory, bit I installed w2k Pro on the laptop for now (there's a driver issue with XP, working on it ,,,,)

I just need to know - where the hell is it you select "Use drop shadows" aka your desktop icons have clear backgrounds instead of a big block of colour that upsets your otherwise cool desktop ? I was doing this on my work PC yesterday (XP) and I am well and truly buggered if I can remember where it is in w2k !!!

Prize for the first correct answer ! :biggrin

Use SeeThru from ZiffDavis or a utility called Transparent. You can't make an icon transparent natively in Win2K that I know of. I've been through those settings a lot in playing with my desktop and I would have used it if it was there because that was a feature I looked specifically looked for.

Well, in all fairness I entered this "contest" as a way to give something back to Trip. I've been teasing him and picking on him lately so I figured what ever the prize was I'd give to him, so have fun on your night out with Trip, AJ.... :biggrin :D :)
