I've always stuck with the xp firewall, however I'm behind my router firewall, so with a PC exposed to the net is it worth changing to zonealarm? I currently use AVG, AVG spyware, Adware, Spybot, and windows defender. Are there any other freebies out there to be recomended?

My data is far too important to let something free protect it... I pay for my protection... so if it fails, I have a reason to complain: I paid for the protection. Sorta hard to demand a company take any real action when they gave you the software for free, ya know?

With most things, you typically get what you pay for. It's worth it to me to pay for it.
