Hello, everyone. Several of my students and customers are on this site and had mentioned it to me, so I thought I'd sign up and contribute.

I'm Chris Bryant, CCIE #12933. Yeah, I passed the big exam, but the toughest thing for me was getting started with the CCNA several years ago. I know what it's like to get started and look at all this stuff and say "huh" ? :) I always said I'd never forget what it's like to get started.

My goal here is to help out any CCNAs and CCNA candidates, and I look forward to getting to know you all better.

    Chris B.

Hi Chris, nice to see you here
I have read a number of your articles, and even used a few of the links (vconsole and ciscokits) that you had mentioned, I also follow your stance on binary math mastary being far more useful than memorising the 'magic' table as many providors call it,
Hope you stick around, will be very nice to have someone higher up the Cisco ladder to lend a hand :)

    Phoenix,

Glad you appreciate my stance on binary math. That's actually one of the cornerstones of my books and classes. I have found the "tricks" some people teach to be much harder than actually just learning binary -- not to mention that these "tricks" are totally useless on the job.

And my students and customers agree! 8)
