    Hi,

As you can tell i'm new to this forum.

Anywho the reason I have joined is that I can hopefully get sound advice off people who have already passed or in the process of passing the Master CIW Designer Certification.

Currently I am trying to crack the v5 of CIW Site Designer and have not been too successful. I was just wondering if anyone has any good advice for me too take onboard or anygood resource pages on the internet to use?

The thing I most struggle with is how they word the questions compared to the practice ones I have obtained from my suppiler, any advice on how to tackle this?

Any suggestions or advice would be very grateful as I really want to try and obtain my qualification.

Sorry, all my CIW information in my head is 6 years old. Haven't touched a CIW exam since.

Yeah I have checked the CIW site out and also seen the link you sent me but I am a bit unsure on spending that sort of money as I have already spent a lot of money on my initial course.

I also dont want to take the risk of spending the money and not really knowing if the software is anygood. Has anyone purchased this sort of sortware before? If so was it anygood good?

Thanks for your help so far

    Regards

Although I cannot comment on the material you are referring to; I would have thought any of the material the exam boards (CIW, Comptia, Cisco, Microsoft, Novell etc) put their name to meets a good standard.

e-mail them and ask if they can provide you with a sample of their courseware - everywhere elso does.

You want to pass a CIW exam - the way I worked it was -

    - practise,
    - study,
    -cram,

not necessarily in that order. Also I would advise that you sit all exams at the end of going through all material for all the modules - becuase there is quite abit of crossover and some topics compliment and clarrify topics you read earlier.

    Are you studying by yourself?

    Hope this helps.
