    Hello,

I found the site through google. You seem like a friendly bunch! Can I join in? :)

My background is, I've been in a helpdesk support role for 3 years, and before that a software tester. Just now thinking about getting certified. The MCDST looks like a good place to start! Any views on this?

    Bye for now...

Hiya. Welcome aboard and good luck with your studies.

3 Years on the helpdesk? MCDST should be a breeze for you. I found the most daunting thing about doing the first Microsoft exam was not knowing what to expect. I think if you started out on the MCDST, with your current experience, the route will be made a little easier and should give you a bit of confidence for future certs. Just a thought.

Thanks for all the welcomes! :D

Kind of. I heard it before from reading JRR Tolkien's biography. Still cool name and cool movie ;) ...what do you think of DD?

Thanks, but I'm not so sure now. I did a practice test via the microsoft site and only scored 60%. Hopefully I can fill the gaps with a book...some questions looked like there could be 2 answers so don't know where I went wrong without seeing the right answers :(

great movie with an interesting plot, cool use of superhero mythology, and some good performances. also a nice tie-in with the website. though i must say the director's cut was a disappointment.
