Hello fellow IT people

I am very happy that i have found your site but it pains me that i found it a little too late after signing up with Skillstrain for A+, N+ & Cisco CCNA. Not meant as a slur but after reading some things then i am a little "worried"!!
i will continue with it though as im paying for it but i want to know how i can get the experience or an IT job. It seems that if you have no experience then you cant really get the job! Seems like that to me but i would be very happy to be proved wrong!!

Welcome warchild - like the Guys have said, determination is key. Stay keen, and you will succeed - there are many inspirational success stories on here of folks who have hung in there through the dark days and got the "foot in the door". It happens

Hi,
I've done the same thing LOL A+ and N+
I've been studying with the Ou for a few years, got a cert.nat.sci(open) and I'm 60pts off a BSc , but I needed to do something more positive.
I'm not expecting miracles, I know I won't get from kitchen porter to IT engineer in 12 months! At the moment I get 5p over minimum wage so anyincrease would be welcome.
I know I can study,and I'm sure I can cope with the work,so I'm going to give it my best shot.
