Just a quick hello to everyone, im currently in a very non IT related job but hoping to move into one after doing some certs(even if its a low entry level job:biggrin) a friend of mine suggested I study CCNA, I have gone through a lot of the fundamentals of it with the help of books and CBT Nuggets videos(great help) and was getting along fine but when it came to actually setting up a router and so forth I started to lose interest due to lack of experience in IT networking :/ I was using Ciscos packet tracer for simulation. I have decided maybe I should go back to the even more fundamental bases first and studying A+ and Network+ exams first?

Anyway hope I can get motivated through using this forum and find lots of hints and tips at the same time :D

    Hi & welcome to CF:D

Yes, the A+ & Network+ certs give an excellent base to build upon.

    Good luck with the certs.
