Hi everyone, I was just searching for some jobs when I came across this website by chance, I started reading some of the topics posted and I thought this is an excellent community to join. Since we are all on the same boat ahoy there mateys.

Anywayz I have A+ , N+ and recently passed CCNA INTRO b4 the deadline only to have to redo all of the cisco discovery 1 + 2 b4 I can actually move on to 3 and 4 to complete my CCNA Certification. A bit of a drag , but I am also doin MCP 70-270 now and would like to move on to 70-290 and 70-291. I heard that the 70-291 exam is a touch nut to crack, but what the hell I will worry about that when I get there.

Anyway I do look forward to participating in some of the posts, until then bye for now.

Thanks fellas, boson michael , if your question was work related, I have only worked as a PC field engineer for 2 months, apart from that I haven't worked in any other IT Job. But Its very hard to get in with minimal certifications , so I am trying my best to get most of cisco's CCNA and MCSA by the next 6 months. If Can , I am being a bit optimistic here.
But course wise currently I am doing CCNA with Skills train and MCP 70-270 via books and trancender CD's and practise exams also a CD fro microsoft.

Welcome to CF:) by all means start looking for a helpdesk or 1st line IT support role as most of these don't require extensive experience.

    Hello and welcome to CF!

I think it would be a good idea to get some entry level certs like A+ and Network+ first before pursuing the more advanced certs like CCNA. Reason being is because a CCNA candidate should have experience in managing networks with cisco equipment. This type of experience comes later in the career not right away.
