    Hi there,
Just like to say what a great place for many of my questions, mostly answered by just reading the forums!

I'm looking to get into training for web design and development. I have experience from self taught, building websites for others, doing some coding with step by step help etc and being involved with community forums, cms types.

I've worked in graphic design and I still dabble quite a bit, like to keep my brain fresh. The route I need to go down is focused training I believe, study from home with exams, but something structered would suit me. As I have been self taught for so long with just a couple of courses short years ago to introduce me to web building, I got a taste for it, I got involved, I taught myself, but it just feels like many areas have been overlooked that would enable me to create a strong portfolio.

I'm not asking any questions about Training Providers as there is a wealth of information here to make my own mind up about it, but the reason I landed here was because of researching these TPs. Also, I am currently unemployed, out of work for a few years for health reasons so I don't have a fat purse to spend on any training, I am hoping to find something that will help me advance like a loan, or sponsorship in work etc.

    That's all for now :biggrin
