Hello to all you Cert people.

I will be studying soon and I am researching into ways of achieving a MCAD/MCSD.

    Under consideration...

1 Study completely myself from books, then take exam(s).
2 Study with a company and attend on some days, then take exam(s).
3 Study Online mainly... then take exam(s).

Obviously cost and quality is an issue.

Anyone have any thoughts or helpful tips on this?

    Thanks for you help, Lozmo9....

    Hi Welcome

Self study is the way, my foster parents were told when I was young I would have no educational ability, I did school, college and Uni.

Self study is very easy, I was about to go with a provider before I joined here and an glad the people on here advised me against it.

It saved money and I feel I have studied harder and learned better.

Welcome to CF! I can only agree with the above, I self studied for my A+ and passed with very decent marks, and am now studying for my N+. Not only am I finding it rewarding and interesting, im really enjoying it! Give it a go and see how you get on, if you find you don't like it, you havent wasted thousands of pounds!

    Mate.

Everyone is different... i prefere to read something from a book or off a screen... then go through it in class... thats my way of revising...

If i carnt go over my study work in a classroom then i talk to people who are doing a similar section... talking about the module as well as revising i feel is my best way.

Pure reading for me is my most beneficial way.
