Excellent Forum. I have been reading ( lurking ), especially the CV stuff. I have 20 + years in IT at a major Data Center in the US as Network Tech Support but was hit by the Workforce reduction Devil in 2009. Since then I had a 3 month job as a contractor.
I found that I had nothing really to show for my 20 years as 3rd level support so over the last year I finally took my CCNA but then found that a lot of smaller companies are loking for all around techs so I added the A
+ and last week MCTS Server 2008 Network Infrastructure.
My plan was to go for the Server 2008 MCTIP but with no actual server experience I have dropped that idea. Being Tech Support I need my hands on and even if I could pass the MCTIP with lots of study and labs and would not consider it worth anything. I am considering the Security+ or CCNA Security next.

I have been applying for lots of jobs but no interviews so after reading all the excellent posts on CV's I am going to spend today working on my CV.
