Hello folks

After having browsed for a few weeks I have signed up for the forum.

Having read the relevant posts I have decided to self study for the A+ instead of going via a training provider.

Thankyou to overone who has posted on this topic which has allowed me to make a more informed choice!

Ten years ago after graduating with a degree in history I did a postgraduate certificate in IT. I did not have the confidence then to believe I could really get in to IT. So I am more or less starting again. I have worked for a bank since then and never went back to IT.

I am looking forward to learning new stuff and hope to sometime soon be in a position to confidently apply fora first level IT support job!
