Ah yes us Northern boys luuurrrvvveee gravy!

I was born in Bolton and lived there most of my life, good old 70's night at Temple on a Friday night and then a dodgy kebab from Sizzles!

Haha! Dodgy kebabs! I have many recollections of eating donar barms outside the Bolton Supper Bar on Bradshawgate, down near The Alma, on Saturday nights ... 3am ... the pavement packed with sozzled revellers, weaving there way to packed taxi ranks while holding plastic trays of chips covered with curry sauce or gravy! Was some rite of passage. ;)

    The good days!

Waiting in -5 conditions outside STB or Bank St Taxi's!

Used to wait for about an hour or more when I only live 10 minutes up the road.

    The qualities of beer. :)
