I already made my first post in the A+ forum and have "met" some of you already but thought I should properly introduce myself in the correct forum!

I found the forum in search of information on the certifications I am looking at taking and have been reading over lots of posts in all the forums, seems like a really friendly place with some great information.

I have looked at a few other certification forums but they don't seem to be so active as this one and are based in America which isn't so helpful when you are based in the UK looking for advice on which test centre is best (or how to get a slightly less overpriced exam voucher to use in Scotland!)

I'm looking forward to my certification journey and to share my experience and somewhat limited knowledge with others on the boards here.

Raffaz - the getcertified site seems to be down just now but that was one I saw recommended by a lot of people here, nice to see it has been used by people here and is actually going to save me money!

cheekymonkey - I am self studying now although last year I was at college on an HNC networking course and it was based on the A+, Network+, Security+ and MS 2000 MCSE.

So now I want to take the A+ and Network+ and start work on an MCSA elective before I go back to uni in September.

If the getcertified site gets back up tomorrow I am hopefully going to schedule the A+ essentials exam for sometime in the next fortnight.
