I have graduated college about a year ago. I currently live in Pennsylvania, USA. I am currently working as a database analyst / Network Tech. I feel that some certifications will help futher my knowledge...I want to get an MCDBA, maybe some others.

Can anyone recommend any good sites to get Computer Based Training for Homebased learning? I rather not get ripped off by purchasing software that is out of date or doesnt cover what will be on the exams.

Hey! Home Boy! Wassup? We must be the only two members at CertForums that are based in the US. Welcome to CF. Glad you could make it. Not exactly sure what you are asking, here. Sounds like you are asking for a distance learning course of some sort as opposed to self-study or just seeing what the local community college has to offer (and in some cases, quite a lot actually).

I can't make any specific recommendations as I've never gone the distance learning route. Perhaps someone else here might have an answer. Hope we can be of service. Cheers.

 

Hi stager and welcome to the forums mate. As for computer based training, I like to use CBT Nuggets videos. You can find them here. What I like about them is that you can watch the vid, pause it and then try it out (whatever you are watching). Not really cheap though.
