Hi there - I'm a complete newbie. I'll be doing the CCNA in February or thereabouts, and I'm just about halfway through the first semester - I'm finding a bit daunting!

Glad to find this site - it looks like a good resource!

    Hi Welcome:)

you may well be finding the CCNA a bit daunting as its an advanced cert not for new to IT people. It's a cert for people already working with CISCO gear.

Having this cert and no experience can go against you when looking for a job for the reasons I have stated.

    Good luck
