Hi im Paul and Im 30 years old and looking to change my direction in life and get myself a career instead of a series of dead end jobs that Ive been involved in in the last few years, I saw this forum and thought Id ask some advice from some people who have been in my position before, so I look forward to chatting and hopefully getting some good advice on which way I can move forward and kickstart my life.

hey claypole1977... I am in your situation had serious of dead end jobs so finally decided to try and make something of a bad situation i have decided to study a+ then n+ then prob mcdst as i am currently not working. With no experience of IT work whatsoever i know i am not going to get a position paying £25,000-£30,000 P.A (like some training providers try and make you believe), but when i pass my a+ as has been mentioned on here quite a few times i will try and get some voluntary work or something to give me some real world experience.... So good luck with whatever you choose to do and remember if you have any problems/questions just post the guys/girls are really friendly and helpful.....
