Just to prove that I can't read, I posted my "Hey I'm new here" message in the Lounge.

Some of you may know me as OscarzDad on some boards from the past. It's been a long time. Mitzs referred me here. I recognize Trip and BosonMike from the past. Anyway, I've been really busy with real life, but hope to keep a bit more active. I'm sure I'll recognize some others as I peruse the boards. Things look really good here and active. About me: I'm a SQLDBA living near Raleigh, NC, USA. I have a wife and a 12 year old son. I look forward to my experiences here.

I have missed you old friend! Glad you came and signed up. The gang here is great, friendly, and helpfull. Who could ask for more? You have to watch out for the brits and specially those scots. I swear they have straws that are 6 ft long and if you turn your back on a full pint of beer it will be gone when you turn back. Oh and wait to you meet arro and leeah they are a hoot. But you better put your steel cup on because arro likes to wear steel toes boots and she is not afraid to use them.

Is Oscar your 12 year old son?

 

Oscar was my bulldog. He is no longer with us. Stupidist animal I've ever met in my life. My son is Zach, but Oscar's picture made a great avatar, so that's what I used at the time. I definitely love my son more!
