    I haven't got a clue about Linux.

Could anyone describe it to me or point me in the direction of a good link.

Something light and easy to read would be nice, nothing too deep.

Of course I'm studying for MCSE but keeping up with other deveploments is definately the way you have to be these days.

So any suggestions for a complete dumbo in Linux.

A tutor on another board ("leok", king of links to be exact) pointed me here: http://www.linux-tutorial.info/ There's a ton of linux sites, but even the ones supposedly for newbies can be really confusing. Let me know what you think.

    Flex,

You nailed it in one why we set his Forum going ! We're predominantly studying either Micro$oft, CompTIA or Cisco here, but a few members have already miscussed Linux - so, VIOLA !!!

I also see it as a Black Art. as I have less than zip knowledge, so I thought if everyone shared what they knew, then we'd all learn a bit more ...

As a UNIX nano Guru (there are some people who I work with who I would describe as true international Guru's) UNIX is really easy to play with. EVERYTHING is a file and EVERYTHING is editable.

    just remember

    $> cd /pub
    $> more beer
