Has anyone played the game Far Cry 3?

I'm about half-way through and all I have to say is "wow" its a great game, and I'm someone who usually doesn't like FPS as I find they lack real story, which I think is important. I wont spoil it for anyone just incase you do pick it up, which I strongly advise that you do. I bought it for like £8.. was an impulse buy tbh.. but what a good investment. Seriously look it up on youtube.. if you want a game with good gameplay aswell as a good story then this is the game for you. even though I haven't finished it yet it most likely will endup in my top 10 games.

 

I haven't played 2 but from game play on youtube it looks the same as 3.. like litteraly the same

 

After getting bored with Borderlands I was going to jump into Far Cry 4 but thought Id give 3 a go before 4, now this game is more my kind of thing. Ive clocked 20 hours already and cant put it down, very large map that you are free roam and a good variety of main and sub plots to keep you entertained. The hole animal skinning, upgrading thing was a but annoying but I guess it fits in with the main narrative. I turned the music off as the atmosphere seems to be ruined a little by it which I'm glad I did as its even more immersive without it. A big thumbs up for Far Cry 3.

 

Wasn't it FC2 that was set in Africa? I didn't like that game, infact I kept suffering with motion sickness whilst playing it.

I loved the first game, I have loved all the Crysis games as well, haven't tried FC 3 or 4 tho.
