The IT Industry values individuals who achieve certification in the wide range of IT products, solutions and services. We believe that you, the candidate, also value your achievement of these certifications and to that end, the ITCC (IT Certification Council), recognizes the importance of protecting the integrity of the exam. The ITCC is a council of industry program leaders committed to growing professional certifications and helping to drive an industry initiative around Securing IT Certifications. In alignment with this commitment, the ITCC would therefore like to address the concerns around test theft and cheating as it applies to certification testing in the IT environment today.

We would appreciate if you would take a few minutes to answer 15 questions on this important topic. All responses are anonymous. Your participation in this survey will help the ITCC member companies improve industry oversight of security for the IT certification exams that we all value.

A quick google shows that they are legit.

If you login to your MCP page, a link to The ITCC site is on the right side of the page. I've never heard of them sending out e-mails.
