Hi guys quick question,
I have bought a bigger hard drive for my computer what is the quickest way to get my data off my previous hard drive without reinstalling all the applications and os onto the new hard drive so what i want to basically do is just copy my c drive( master) to the new drive(slave) and then swap it so that i can boot everything off the new drive.

Symantec Ghost or simillar will do the job you're asking.

Alot of HDD manufacturers provide software for this, so maybe take a look at your manufacturers site.
Programs like discwizard from seagate.

There are others available for other HDD manufacturers. Ive never personally used these tho. I normally use acronis true image.
