hard drive has blue text not black...

    My external usb hardrive in 'my computer', shows up with in blue text?

    HARDRIVE(G:)

    what does this mean?

    I always thought blue text meant a file was compressed or encrypted.

    Thats my understanding as well, well nearly. I thought Blue was compressed and green was encrypted, although the colours can changed I belief.

    So maybe we can conclude (tentatively, anyway), that the data on the external USB drive is compressed?
