Hi all, I'm nugget and it looks like I'm not the only one looking in from elsewhere. I'm an ex Aussie living here in Zürich (yes,I love chocolate that much). I'll be dropping in from time to time with some very silly questions so you have been warned .

BTW for non german speakers Gruezi is swiss german for Hello.

Welcome aboard nugget, your most welcome here So are you in the process of gaining certification or just an IT enthusiast or none of those, you hate IT an thats why you ran off the Zürich to hide with all the chocolate you can eat

 

Hi guys thanks for the welcome. The short version is that I met a swiss girl in oz and she promised me all the gold dust I could eat. She didnt tell me that I would have to eat the steel doors of the bank vaults first to get to the gold...c'est la vie.
I've been here for 7 years now and work for a bio-tech company in cancer and alzheimers research. I have always had an interest in computers but didn't know about the certification stuff until I stumbled across CertTutor.net (I last touched a computer when Windows 3.1 was king). I have now started with XP and I'm still amazingly confused even now.
OK enough about me.

So where in Oz are you from ? I spent some time touring there many moons ago - what a blast !!! Spent most time (and money) in Melbourne
