Got a small problem with my group policy settings. I'm trying to secure our wireless network using a radius server and group policy settings. Sorted the radius bit out OK, but when I go to the group policy settings and open up Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings there isn't a node for Wireless Network Policies.

Spent ages on Google trying to find out why but can't find anything as to why the wireless settings aren't there.

    Other info
DC's are running Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP 2 installed. Can't think of any other info that you might need.

If anyone's got any ideas of how to sort this out I would be very grateful.

    Ta very much

I too have noticed this phenomenon...

If I create a GP on a domain controller it appears... otherwise if I create one locally on my XP box it does not?

Maybe see if creating a GP on a domain controller forces it along?

THIS knowledge base article refers to the GP node I'm referring to.

The Group policies are being made on the Domain controllers, it's just not there.

It looks like the group policy template for that node hasn't been updated and for the life of me I can't find a fix anywhere.

When I said being made on the domain controllers, just to confirm, I did not mean using GPMC on your local XP workstation to connect to a domain controller, I mean actually remote desktop into your DC and run GPMC or group policy editor from there to see if they exist... (Which they should)...

To see them on an XP workstation, via GPMC or whatever....

    Try this link...
