    Hi all,

I was just curious to ask, if you assign logon scripts to users in group policy, does the script run with the user's rights or does it run as a system account etc...

If it does not run as system etc.. how do people create logon scripts to perfom administrative functions which must be applied to the user logging in, rather than computer startup/shutdown scripts??!!

    Thanks

With windows 2000 or above there are restrictions that dont allow logon scripts to performa administrative tasks for non administrative users.
