Hi everybody!! I'm so glad I came across this site in time as I was just about to sign my life away with computeach (close shave eh!!??) Consequently I told them to take a hike and now I am looking for another training provider who can provide training at a distance. I have came across NITLC who seem to have a good reputation but based on my aforementioned experience with C/teach, it hasn't instilled much confidence in finding a trustworthy trainer. Can anyone offer any advice?? It would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. I am interested in going down the MCSE route.

    Welcome Juneau :D

It depends on your own experiance really but going it alone would certainly save you loads of dosh. I personally paid up front for my MCSE and only afterwards found out that on the MOC courses you only learnt a fraction of what you needed to know in order to pass Microsofts very tough exams.

So, given the fact that you are going to have to learn most of the stuff on your own, using sites like this to help clarify areas where you find yourself struggling. It does make some sense to self study the whole thing, one step at a time. Say A+ then N+ then go for an MCP, say XP, then Server 2003 and eventually you will be well on your way to the SE!

Good luck in whatever you choose,

    Pete
