I'm hardly studying for a cert, in fact the closest I get is Second Year, A-Level IT, which I'm in the process of concluding now, after having constructed, implemented, evaluated (*shudders*) an MS Access based 'van hire' system for my coursework, lovely- I know

And, I'm off to uni in Spetember to study.. English Language with Linguistics... so...

Computing is something I like to do on the side I hope to learn from y'all

Honestly, Trip - you and your over-analysing :roll: Yeah, OK - you've got a point, but the "Easter weekend" here is generally taken to mean inclusive of the Friday/Monday too

Unless you're in Tech Support, that is Mind you, saying that - someone made a serious gaff in planning the shift rotas for today, meaning that we will have zero Support from 5-9 tonight (meant to be 9-9 Mon-Sat).

Hmmm, I sense some extremely irate Users and one even more-so Boss tomorrow when this comes to light

So what are you hoping to do long-term after uni and as such?

Glad you chose to join us anyway!

 

In the US, spring break and Easter Sunday so the kids had a full week off of school. I'm trying not to over-analyze but after all...I am a tech.

Besides, I get to eat Matzah for Passover/Feast of Unleavened bread for eight days and still have to go to work. Wassup with that???

The great thing about boards is that they are all filled with crazy regulars, I like it :P

Erm, some more info, well, when I've gotten my English Degree I had plans to do a PGCE and become a teacher, but i'm slowly backing away from that - so who knows. I might cancel all my UCAS applications, go through clearing and do some kind of IT degree :P

The sites cool, been having a good look around, will get into the groove of things shortly I expect
