2009 Goals

Gain MCSA: Messaging Check
Gain Citrix Certified Administrator Check
Gain CCNA Check
Promotion to Systems Administrator Check

CCENT Check
MCSE Check
ITIL v3 Foundation Check
71-685 Windows 7 Enterprise Desktop Support Technician Check

It's been a crazy year, I have worked my absolute arse off, all goals met and exceeded with a month to spare

Studying to the max and also changing jobs and taking on board tons more responsibility.

I really don't think I have the momentum to keep the pace up that I have set over the last twelve months.

However, I believe that I now have a well rounded group of certifications being the Citix Certified Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate & Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer which compliment each other nicely.

The old CV is going to need some updating as I want to have two versions for later on next year, one for a Pre Sales Architect (I can rely on my previous job experience for the pre sales part) and then one for the same role that I do now, but on more dosh.

Still not decided yet on my certificate goals for 2010 yet, as I only put forward goals that I will complete.

But as they say, watch this space!

I'm yet to decide on my 2010 goals as there is some of 2009 left and I have one more objective to complete.

A goal is not a goal unless you put the effort in to achieve it. Otherwise it is nothing more than a wish or a dream

 

OK, I have just ordered the Exchange 2007 book, I don't know whats wrong with me, I think I must be ill!

 

Well since I only joined yesterday...

Goals for 2009 were pretty ok

Upgrade my MCPDs on 2.0 to 3.5 ... 66% done
Complete my MOSS certifications .. 75% done
Continue learning Norwegian.. ehhhh ja vel til den!
Play more rugby .. yes sir
Eat something I have never eaten before.. yup.. sugar preserved mackeral (gravemakeral in Norwegian)
Do more talks .. check!
Save for my wedding next year.. almost done!

For 2010 well.. cert wise, I will be upgrading again if MS let me.. otherwise it will have to wait till 2011.. long story
