Hey dudes....

Had my head buried on the sand a bit at work, you know how it gets, buts whats the story with Gmail?

Can you get a GMail account these days or is it on trial? Its just i've seen a couple of posts saying Gmail is great but i'm not sure if or when i can get an account.

Hotmail is starting to lose its appeal! And i wanna get in on the ground floor with Gmail, any info appreciated.

well put it this way a few of us already have Gmail accounts and due to recent events from Hotmail and Microsoft wanting to charge their users to get emails thru Outlook and Outlook Express...people will start to lose interest in Hotmail...I mean who wants to pay for checking their mails thru Outlook? So really you can get a Gmail account...but I think someone will have to invite you first...I am not sure if anyone has any invites left but all of mine have gone so I cant give you one...

 

I have 2 Gmail invites left, do you still need one mattwest??

I also have 6 invites going spare, a private message with your regular e-mail address secures one.

 

Err - what is GMail guys? Don't know what it is but I feel left out!!

Is this safe?? I am sure that this is what I was reading about on some newsletter that if the computer is shared then other people can call up your emails sent and received and get passwords etc. I know it was definately some Google product - can anyone clarify for me???

If anyone has any gmail invites left i'd sure appreciate it, i didnt realise you had to be invited, but i dont want anyone to put themselves out if they'd rather keep their's! I'll understand....

I agree that it sure sounds the way to go, charging to downlaod email via outlook!! crazzzzzzzzzy

I've read that Google's Gmail is only on beta test at the moment, but it looks good.

Does any one know if they are going to permanently keep with the invite only subscription, or are they going to open it up with fee payable soon?

Also is any one kind enough to offer an invite to yours truely
