I recently downloaded the trial version of ghost control (for recording and automation of tasks) but am unsure of how powerful it can (or cannot) be to its users. Has anyone used this or a similar product, if so where do you think its uses are?? :)

Never heard of this program before Ally.

Can you tell us some more about it, i.e. who makes it, who it's targeted at etc?

From the brief description you gave it sounds like something that could be really useful.

I would use it to train non-techie folk when you in a support role.. lets say when they need to access a mapped drive or something that could turn out really complicated just do-it-yourself and let each one watch it when they have to perform the task!
Other than that can be used to make training videos like CBT learnkey and LinuxCBT....
