Howdy folks. I'm Martin. I've been tinkering around with computers since I was about 10 and we got our first Windows 95 system. I went to an IT college but that didn't go so well for some pretty private reasons but I got a pretty decent foundation in Java programming from it. I'm looking to move into networking because I feel my talents are more in hardware and support than software design.

I look forward to becoming an active member of the community here and to helping others make their way once I've figured out where I am.

I think a good place to start would be too do the CompTia A+ & N+ and take it from there.

would it be wise to do A+ and N+ at the same time?

I think it depends on the individual if they feel comfortable doing two at the same time

Was afraid you'd say that. Shall have to read more about the course contents. I'm pretty adept with this stuff but cost is also a factor.
