Even his girlfriend gets excited with him, Is that the norm???? My g/f would be going mad for paying £400 for a GPU. But id still do it for special occasions.

They are good cards for sure, but to get that excited and film your game play and put it on you tube is another matter.

Another ting too, I just installed rainbow six vegas and my AM2 5200+ dual core CPU does not meet maximum requirements to run the game??? Are you having a laugh Ubisoft!!!!!!

That thing cost me £250 and you say noooo? Bite me.... lol

I don't know what's worse, the nimrod placing these things in the first place, or all the other idiots going 'well thats nothing, I can get 32765762fps on my GeForce Maxi-Fusion Turbo Nutjob 9000 GT with added teasmaid'

 

No my Graphics card ahem (pisses) all over it, it seems to run just normal on 1600X1200 full settings, but for them to say its not good enough. Makes me want to stick my boot right up there ratey!!! LOL

 

Rainbow Six Vegas is fairly new isn't it?

I hate it when that kind of thing happens. I bought F.E.A.R. not too long ago and it run like shite on my old card, ended up spending £150 jib on a new one, most expensive game I ever bought!!!!

 

Yeh it is a newish game, excellent graphics. F.E.A.R is awesome, that doesnt request a stronger CPU either. I was getting 100% FPS over 40 on 1280X1024 on that game. Stunning visuals.

Once i cranked it up to 1600X1200, things changed a little. Averaging out at around 30-40FPS but still very playable.

Cant believe this CPU with rainbow six vegas though, my CPU does anything i ask of it, And they say no!!! The cheek of it. lol

 

I wonder if he lets his girlfriend play with it
