    Just thought I'd say hi since I'm a newbie to the forum. I never subscribe to forums but since I'm trying to learn as much as I can in order to work in the IT industry, I thought I would subscribe here.

    I would also like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who posted in the cerco training thread. I nearly signed up but after doing a bit of googling and also reading the posts here, I decided it was definitely a bad idea. Thanks for saving me £4,000!!!

    Well, I'll keep it brief because it's very late here but just thought I would say hi. Anything you want to know about me is on my profile.

    Without sounding patronising, it's great to see more and more of the lady-folk signing up. If you think of your typical IT worker it's the male geek who still lives with his mum. When I started where I work now, I couldn't believe how many women work in our IT deptartment, it must be at least a quarter, if not a third, of the total staff.

    No worries, I'm not insulted. There are a lot more women going into IT but I know I'm still a bit of an oddball. I don't mind being an oddball because I think it's much better than being a sheep. LOL Although I'm a bit of a techno-geek, I don't think I look like one. (At least I hope not!) I'll stop now because I have a tendency to go on and on and on and on...... well, you get the idea.:biggrin Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!
