Hello All,

Just a quick question for you ladies and gents...

I have been tasked to test the ''New'' FSRM tool to see if it will fit in our network, installed a couple of vm images (windows 2003 entreprise SP2) but I dont seem to be able to find the thing anywhere... nothing on the manage your server applet and nothing on the add/remove programs.... is it not available on the entreprise version or what ?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

That might get you started. The link points to a document. FSRM is available in server 2003 R2. That is R2, not SP2.

 

thanks for the link! had a quick look... still doesnt tell me if FSRM is available on win3k entreprise ....

 

It definately is on Enterprise edition, but you need R2 (release 2). Don't confuse this with SP2, that is service pack 2, but still on R1.

 

hmmmm got a feeling that we will have to pay for R2


the boss isn't going to be happy....
