Yesterday I got back from my ISA exam 70-227, which thank heavens I passed with 811 (700 needed). I didn't sleep hardly at all the night before the exam, so I crashed out when I got home and wasn't able to post this then.

I have only been studying the dreaded ISA thing for about a year, so it is good news that I can move on with my life!

I am now MCSE! I know that may not seem much to some people (it is only a cert) but to me it has been a long hard journey and I am therefore very proud of myself 8) Three years ago, I had no real theoretical knowlege regarding Microsoft
networking but with the encouragement and help that I have found here and on other IT related sites, I have finally done what I set out to do.

Getting this MCSE thing has turned out to be much harder than I initially anticipated, it really is hard going sometimes.

Now bring on the upgrade exams

Congratulations, well done Pete. It is most definitely a hard slog, but what a great feeling in the end and well worth it. Are you resting on your laurels for a bit or have you got your beady eye on something else :)

Well done Pete. I'm glad to see the copious Aussie sunshine hasn't fried your brain completely. I have followed your travels with ISA studies for a while and I know it's been difficult for you at times. All the more deserving for the pass mate. :thumbleft

Great news Pete, very well done.

I know what you mean coz like you I had no theoretical M$ knowledge at all. Took me 3 years to get and it was hard work all the way!!

What's required now is a well deserved rest :thumbleft

Congrats mate, I know that the MCSE is a hell of a slog to get through, especially when doing it off your own back, and I have heard scary stories of the ISA exams (personally am waiting for the 2k4 ones)
I know you worked hard for it mate, and you deserve a bit of a break, enjoy the Aussie summer, and sink a few cold ones for us all! :)

    Well done!!!
